Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., whence the second week of September. P. Mathias, Founder 1953-2011 Kathy began her career in the field of education, first at Western Maryland College in Deaf Education, CatonsvillePolityCollege in Continuing Education and Wor-WicPolityCollege for the Dean and the President. Her career with the Town began in 1983. She worked with 3 municipality managers, 5 mayors and many other elected officials, first as secretary to theMunicipalityManager and Administrative Aide to the Mayor surpassing stuff promoted Assistant toMunicipalityManager, a position she held until 2010 when she was appointedMunicipalityClerk. During her tenure with the Town, Kathy achieved many noteworthy accomplishments, but she was most proud of finishing her education at Salisbury University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1998. With her preliminaries in education and interest in life-long learning, she ripened OceanMunicipalityUniversity, a societal education program endorsed by the Mayor and Council. Kathy believed that informed citizens could modernize the quality of life and make a difference in the community.
